Meet Brooke
Brooke Rogers
Founder, BNR Solutions
Brooke spent over 25 years in the hospitality industry. From cafes to casinos, hotels to high end wedding venues, he worked front of house, back of house — staff member, supervisor, manager, owner operator, vocational trainer. Brooke understands the unique pressures the hospitality industry places on its staff and knows what it's like to be the person responsible for a team whilst trying to keep everything else running.
Brooke also worked for 10 years in manufacturing and logistics in the coffee industry. During this time, in addition to gaining insight into another industry, he still interacted with hospitality clients, mostly small businesses; cafes, clubs and restaurants, on a daily basis. Brooke also became a vocational trainer during this period, drawing on his experience to help take complex information and make it practical and accessible for busy industry people. That experience shapes how he approaches everything at BNR Solutions.
More recently, Brooke returned to his studies, adding a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) / Bachelor of Counselling, and is now and accredited counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association. That combination — deep industry experience plus a genuine understanding of human behaviour and wellbeing — is what he brings to psychosocial risk work. It's not just about ticking compliance boxes, it's about understanding what's actually happening for people in the workplace.
- Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management)
- Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) / Bachelor of Counselling
- Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment
- Accredited Counsellor — Australian Counselling Association (ACA)
How We work
Our approach
Plain language, always
The code of practice doesn't need to be complicated. We translate your obligations into clear, everyday language so you actually understand what's required — and why.
Hospitality-first thinking
We don't apply a generic framework and call it done. Everything is grounded in the realities of running a venue — shift work, casual staff, service pressure, and all.
Honest about what you need
We tell you what actually applies to your business — and what doesn't. We don't oversell or create work that isn't necessary.
Grounded in the code
Everything we advise is anchored in the psychosocial risk code of practice. You'll always know the basis for what is being recommended.
What We bring
25+ years of industry experience, plus the qualifications to back it up
Brooke's background combines deep, hands-on hospitality experience with formal qualifications in business, psychology, and counselling. That's an unusual combination — and it's exactly what makes psychosocial risk work in a hospitality context different when you work with us.
